Man Who Raped Neighbor Then Offered to do Her Yard Work Sentenced to 50 Yrs

A Florida man has been sentenced to 50-years in prison after being convicted of raping his neighbor then subsequently offering to do her yard work as a way of making it up. West Palm Beach jurors found Timothy Walding, 20, guilty on the charges of sexual battery, false imprisonment, and armed burglary stemming from the October 2017 incident.

According to court documents, Walding broke into the home of his 35-year-old victim and raped her for 90 minutes as she was tied up and threatened with a knife. As he was finished, he offered to do any work around the house to which she declined. Upon his departure, the victim alerted police.
